Short Bio : Ms. Farzana Afrin Lopa is a dynamic and driven junior scholar focusing on the field of governance. Farzana’s fervent interest in the functioning and evolution of parliamentary systems has led her to pursue in-depth research in this critical domain. She had excellent academic performance in applied statistics at East West University and joined the BIDD Internship Program Phase 4. Her dedicated performance made her the best intern from phase 3 to 4. With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the complexities involved, she seeks to unravel the intricacies of legislative bodies and their impact on society. This is why she joined the team at BiDD as a junior research scholar. Farzana aspires to contribute significantly to the advancement of parliamentary studies. Her interest lies in developing the legislative data and creating a data narrative on the parliamentary oversight of the Bangladesh Parliament that can improve the outcomes of the development studies. She loves to do data mining through R, SPSS, and Python programs.
